Somerset County is resurfacing the GAP between the Mason & Dixon Line (Mile 21) and Miller’s Run Trail Access/Sand Patch (Mile 28). Between November 15th and the 24th.
That includes the Big Savage Tunnel. The tunnel WILL NOT BE CLOSED during the work, but there will be big trucks coming through while trail users are going through as well.
Again, the trail won’t be closed.
Were are encouraging people to try and avoid the area as much as possible and use caution if they decide to ride this section.
