Confluence welcomes two new restaurants!
The Tissue Farm opened an espresso and tea shop in May. The menu features espresso drinks, chai (made in-house), hot chocolate, teas, and lemonade located on Latrobe Ave. Plus, locally made baked goods are on hand.
A recent Five-Star Google Review sums it up; “Their espresso drinks and their cold press are fabulous, made with Commonplace Coffee from Pittsburgh. Try their burnt sugar latte, and their scones are also awesome! Great atmosphere, friendly staff and good coffee. What more could you want?”
In August, The Confluence Cafe opened on Oden Street offering Pizza, Sandwiches, and Salads. The pizza is the same recipe made famous by Trailside Pizza, the former shop in the same location. The menu includes vegan,
vegetarian and gluten-free options.
A Five Star review on Google maps hits the spot; “Great place to enjoy pizza by the river. Pizza had great toppings and lots of it. Great desserts as well! Ask to borrow the blankets to do a little picnic on the levy for free.”
